Section 2 Aims and Objectives
1. Aims of the Course
The course is aim to prepare student for effective method of teaching, critical thinking, problem solving as the tool of the method of teaching, writing the lesson plan, producing the lesson media, handling the class, evaluating and measure of the productivity of the student, new technology for effective teaching and learning. Students are required to take at least 135 hours practicum while taking this course.
2. Objectives of Course Development/Modification
Students should be able to:
1. Acquire broad views of education concerning teaching and learning within a level of their responsibility (ies): university, high school, middle school, primary school, or kindergarten.
2. Apply the latest trends and the effective methods of teaching in their respective classroom.
3. Apply the theories and knowledge learned in the class to actual work situation.
4. Gain sufficient experience in preparing lesson plans, instructional materials, activities, and assessment of students’ performance through the 135 hours of practical teaching.
5. Develop opportunities for reflection, critical thinking and problem solving within the framework of theory and research in their field of study.
6. Achieve useful educational experiences that will be benefit to the students in the future.
Section 3 Course Characteristics and Implementation
1. Course Description

Students are required to take at least 135 hours practicum while taking this course.

A = 90 – 100% C+ = 65 – 69%
A- = 85 – 89% C = 60 – 64%
B+ = 80 – 84% C- = 55 – 59%
B = 75 – 79% D = 50 – 54%
B- = 70 – 74% F = 0 – 49%
- Note: Student with the grade lower than B will be considered as failed in this course. In that regard, student has to take this course again in order to meet the program requirement
